TV Room
The TV Room is the ‘entertainment centre’ for Cara.
The large leather corner sofa is ideal for lounging, whether you’re just having a drink, doing a puzzle, reading a book, or crashed out with a DVD.
The TV is a Panasonic LCD smart TV, so its connected to the internet. This means it can access iPlayer and various other web sites and music stations without needing a laptop or PC. And its also connected to the Sony home cinema to play DVDs (including Blu Rays) with full surround sound.
This system also plays audio CDs, which may be more appropriate if you’re doing a piece or two in the jigsaw puzzle which is laid out on the dedicated board.
A large built in cabinet houses a number of audio CDs (there’s a few more in the living room under the stereo) and there’s a selection of regular and Blu-Ray DVDs in addition to the multitude of games and puzzles, novels and non fiction books
The modern log burner provides a warm ambience and focal point and, particularly if the evening weather takes a turn for the worse, and you’ll find a supply of logs, kindling and a firelighter or two in the wicker basket next to the hearth.
For more music and entertainment options at Cara, recline on the settee in the living room where there’s a Panasonic stereo system, or in the bedrooms where the DVD players build in to the TVs play regular DVDs and audio CDs
